The sounds contained on this compact disc were created and produced by Eric Kauschen, a Magister in the Temple of Set to accompany a revised version of Anton LaVey's "Die Elektrischen Vorspiele" ritual that was performed at the 2001 Temple of Set Conclave.
LaVey in his writing saw this as a look to the future, but in the actual work portrayed the future with a look to the past. His visions of the future where based on symbolism of the past. His suggestions for the types of music were based much on cartoonish ideas of the future, not the reality of what we see in the future today.
Of special note is the parameter sounds. LaVey knew nothing of the science of sound, but his words sounded very scientific. Eric Kauschen has taken the science of sound and applied it to the sounds he included in the piece.
This is a special commemorative CD that includes electronica from the experimental to modern day dance.
